Illusions of Time: Selena's Tale by Sabina Dazdarevic

Selena, a 24-year-old woman, feels lost despite her comfortable life. Happiness eludes her, and she struggles to find meaning. Constantly questioning her choices, she devalues herself, feeling shame without reason and even contemplating ending her life. She was born with scars on her back—scars she loves, even though they aren’t conventionally beautiful. When she reluctantly agrees to a surgery to remove them, she’s unaware that her life is about to take an unexpected turn. 
 
Just before her hospital appointment, Selena is suddenly transported to the 11th century. There’s little time for explanation or understanding; time itself seems twisted, and events blur the lines between reality and illusion. Caught in this chaotic world, she must navigate mysterious events and face challenges that will forever alter her life.
 
This story explores the concept of destiny—the idea that certain events are intricately woven into the fabric of life, beyond anyone's control. At the same time, it highlights the power of choice and the ability to shape one's own path, even in the face of fate.
